Local 41 Training

LIUNA members have access to the best continuing education program in North America. And it’s free! LIUNA training includes more than 50 different courses, opening the door to new opportunity and advancement; providing valuable learning skills such as hazardous materials remediation, remote tunnels, concrete work, and a wide range of other building construction skills. ontinuing Education In addition to the college degree program, the National Labor College offers many continuing education classes that are of use to union leaders. The NLC has launched a new cutting-edge union education tool called the Open Learning Course (OLC) program. The OLC is offered free and is a self-directed, web-based learning activity that offers opportunities for union members, leaders, activists and staff to study new topics of interests and improve their current understanding of the labor movement.

nion Plus Scholarships The Union Plus Scholarship Program awards university, college, trade school or technical scholarships to students of working families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary education. The program has awarded more than $3.5 million to over 2,300 students.
